Meet Mrs. Bloom

MEET MRS. BLOOM:
Anissa Bloom is currently the 6th grade self-contained teacher and 7th grade math teacher at Wetmore Academic Center. Mrs. Bloom is currently the Professional Development Representative for the Wetmore Schools, the middle school Scholars’ Bowl Coach, and Student Improvement Team Leader. Also part of Mrs. Bloom's duties is Athletic Director for the Wetmore School System. Mrs. Bloom has taught in Wetmore for the past fifteen years. Prior to this time, Mrs. Bloom taught in Seneca for six years. Mrs. Bloom received her undergraduate degree from Emporia State University and finished her master’s degree from Peru College in Technology and Curriculum Development in the spring of 2008.
Mrs. Bloom has been married to Corey Bloom for twenty years and has three children. Kaitlyn is seventeen, Kenton is fifteen, and Kyle is twelve. The Bloom family lives on the family farm near Wetmore.
