Class Description For Sixth Grade Math

Sixth grade math helps students prepare for algebra and geometry while enhancing their basic arithmetic knowledge. Sixth grade math focuses on the state standards. Students are encouraged to see the relationships between the math they are learning and real world situations. Students will be engaged in activities that promote mathematical communication skills, reasoning skills, and problem solving skills.
