My youngest son, James, attends KSU and is majoring in Business Administration.
Special Education
Sabetha's Special Education program is administered by the Holton Special Education Cooperative. This program follows guidelines mandated by the State and Federal Government. Services are provided for students with disabilities such as emotional disturbance (ED), mentally handicapped (MR), learning disabled (LD), visually or hearing impaired. Students are admitted to the program following a comprehensive evaluation and parental consent. An IEP, individual education plan is written for the student.
Students are instructed in the least restrictive environment. For some this is instruction in the general education classroom while others are instructed in the special education classroom. Students may also have support with a paraeducator.
