Lesha Koch
2nd Grade
I have been employed with USD #441 in varying capacities for many years. My first 14 years were spent experiencing all areas of education as a substitute teacher. When my 3 children Kelsi, Kaleb, and Kasha were settled in school, I entered the work force full time as a Teaching Assistant and Reading Recovery Teacher. I then taught 5th grade for two years and am currently teaching 2nd grade.
After graduating from Sabetha High School, I attended Kansas State University for 2 years and completed my Bachelor of Science in Education at Peru State College. In 2005, I earned my Masters in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Mary's University.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, taking walks with my husband, Rick, traveling, and quilting.
It is a joy to work with the young children in our community, watching them grow and learn each day! I invite you in to our classroom to watch your child in his/her endeavor to become a lifelong learner.
