I graduated from Tonganoxie High School and attended Kansas State University. In 1975, I graduated from Southwestern College in Winfield, KS, with an elementary education degree. My first teaching job was in Dexter, KS as a second grade teacher. I also taught in Tonganoxie as a 3rd grade teacher and a second/third grade combination room teacher. After a move to Hiawatha, I taught in a preschool. We now live in rural Sabetha and I began my teaching career here in 1988. I began as a second grade teacher and then moved to my present position as a 4th grade language arts teacher. My family includes my husband, Steven, and my daughters Andrea & Arika.
