Denise Huning

1st Grade

    I grew up on a farm near Gypsum, Kansas.  I graduated from Southeast of Saline High School in 1978 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Fort Hays State University in 1982.  

    I have been teaching first grade at Sabetha Elementary School since 1982.  First graders are very eager to learn and it is fun to teach them how to read.

    In my free time, I enjoy reading, gardening, and antiquing.  I live in Morrill with my husband, Leon.
