Christa Schuette Autobiography

Christa Schuette grew up in Netawaka, Kansas. She attended Jackson Heights Schools, where she graduated in 1991. After high school graduation, she attended Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas. While at Bethany, she played basketball, ran indoor and outdoor track, and was on the Blue and Gold Dance Team. She received a BA in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Special Education and a concentration in Physical Education. After college graduation, she began teaching special education at Sabetha Elementary School. Mrs. Schuette taught for five years before she decided to stay home with her three daughters, Taryn, Kinley, and Morgan. Taryn is ten years old and in the fifth grade, and twins, Kinley and Morgan, are seven years old and in the first grade. Mrs. Schuette is married to Shane Schuette. He owns and operates his own business, Schuette Lawn and Landscape. Mrs. Schuette complete her Master's Degree from Baker University in December 2007. After five years of being a stay-at-home mom, she decided to get back into teaching. Mrs. Schuette now teaches all day kindegarten at SES. In her free time, Mrs. Schuette enjoys jogging, playing sports with her daughters, going to the lake, going to Colorado to snow ski, and helping coach her daughters' sport teams.
