Make-up days for missed snow days.

As of February 23, 2010 we have missed seven days due to snow for the 2009-10 school year. Those days were November 16, December 8, 9, & 10, January 7 & 8 and February 22. As per the district make-up policy the first three days are forgiven. We have 3 days scheduled to make up. Those days will be made up as follows:

April 2, April 5, and March 15 (Monday of Spring Break) 2010. The Board of Education at the past BOE meeting on March 1 decided to forgive the snow day on February 22 also.Now that we are within 30 days of spring break we will not use any more of spring break for make-up days. This is so staff and families can plan their spring break. They may need to re-assess if any other days are missed.

Let's hope for no more missed school days.
