Rachel Bloom came to Wetmore Academic Center in 2005 after being a Title I Teacher Assistant for three years at Sabetha Elementary School. She was born and raised in Hiawatha, Kansas with two siblings. Mrs. Bloom graduated from Hiawatha High School in 1998. She attended Highland Community College on music and academic scholarships and graduated with honors in 2000. She transferred to Peru State College and was awarded academic scholarships and graduated with the honor of Summa Cum Laude in 2002. Mrs. Bloom obtained her master's degree from Baker University. Her current teaching assignment at Wetmore is Instructional Support Teacher. She has been involved with the After School Program. Mrs. Bloom is a member of the SIT team. She was junior class sponsor two years.
